We will be starting this episode with a simple trick that we can use on our android mobile phones. In this trick we will be talking about a simple way that we can use in hiding our files and folders on our android mobile phones. Let’s begin.
Let’s start with a little background knowledge. There are files and folders on our phones that we cannot view or see in our default folder view mode, it is because these files are hidden, we can only see these folders when we enable “show hidden files” in our folder settings/option, these files are usually systems files or folders and are not directly for our use they are used and access by the phones operating system.
One thing to keep in mind here is that these files (hidden files) that are contained here will not show up in the gallery or show up in any default searches and such are hidden from normal view.
This will be interesting and useful to you if you have some files that you want to hide and remove from the default view of others, there is a simple way that we can hide these files, lets show these in simple steps.

STEPS >>>
1. Go to your folder and enable in your options “show hidden files” these will enable you to see all the hidden files or folders.

2. Create a folder and name it whatever name you like, then move all the files or folder that you want hidden and paste them in this folder.

3. After that rename the folder name but this time around start the name with a “dot” like this “.nameoffolder”

4. When you are done with this, go to your folder options and unchecked the “show hidden files” box.

You will noticed immediately that the folder you just created will be hidden with the rest of the other folders that by default are hidden.
To check that this folder is totally hidden, you can check for the pictures you have added to this folder in the gallery, and you will notice that you cannot find them there.
This option is very easy and can be very useful to avoid preying eyes on your important and personal files, but be prudent enough to avoid doing this on someone else phone to avoid causing unnecessary troubles.
If you want to view your files you can simple enable the “show hidden folder” option and have access to the files and folders that were placed in there before.
